A few weeks back, a sink hole developed at the intersection of North Hidden Lake Road and Rice Brook Road. That sink hole occurred due to an aging culvert. We put a temporary fix in place and have since been working on a permanent solution.
We have now received authorization from the NH Department of Environmental Services to replace the culvert that carries Rice Brook under North Hidden Lake Road. That work is slated to begin on Monday and should take a couple days to complete. This portion of North Hidden Lake Road will be completely closed during the day but we will try to keep one lane open at night. If you take North Hidden Lake Road to go past Rice Brook Road (to Fox Hill, Woodlot, Nichols, North Circle, or the north end of Tigola), you should plan on taking an alternate route in and out of the neighborhood for a few days. We will post here and on our website when work is complete. If you have questions, please email Chris ([email protected]) Comments are closed.
