- Covenants - these were written in the early 1970s and are attached to the deeds of every HLA Property. These effectively cannot be changed.
- Bylaws - these are the rules that guide how members run Hidden Lake Association - it defines our Board of Directors, their roles and responsibilities, and when our member meetings are. Bylaws are adopted by the membership with the most recent being adopted in 2021.
- Policies - these are designed to clarify our Covenants (which are now over 50 years old) and ensure both clarity and fairness for all HLA members regarding topics like Campers, Signage, Road Usage, Noise, Safety, etc. Polices are adopted by the Board of Directors at the recommendation of the HLA Policy and Bylaws Committee. This committee most recently reviewed and proposed updates to our policies in Spring 2023.
