HIDDEN LAKE ASSOCIATION BOARD MEETING
AMENDED MINUTES
April 10, 2018
Present: President- Mike Kelley, Vice President and Temporary Treasurer- Bill
Osterhout, Secretary- Dian Mathews, Directors- Donna Moxley, Mikki Falcone,
And Mike Gallagher
Minutes of the March 2018 Board meeting were amended and accepted as amended.
ACTIONS:
1. Docks putting in – May 19 is the date! 8 AM (Last yr. was May 20.)
Mike G. will put out the word for volunteers.
Mike G. will also order 2018 Boat Stickers (Gemini)
2. Pool opening updates – Clearwater is opening the pool on May 10. Mikki
begin taking the furniture out of Rossi Hall.
Pool attendants meeting will be scheduled for early May. Any Board member may
attend.
When pool attendants’ CPR class is scheduled, it will be posted on Facebook. The
class will be open to any HLA member for $35.
Mike K. got deck paint for the pool area.
Mikki will order $250 in propane.
Merle is coming next week to turn on the water to the pool house.
The solar panels have to be drained.
Mikki has been investigating the fixing of the pool house foundation. The problem
is greater than we thought. She is having a contractor come to inspect and give us
an estimate. Currently the foundation is on cinder blocks. We might have to have a
footing put in 4’ down.
*Mike K will call to get the phone reconnected.
Rossi Hall – Mikki reports that there have been several calls from Members
wanting to rent the Hall.
Mike K will call Mike & Bob re: putting up the kitchen cabinets they donated.
Gutters around the north and west sides of the building may help with the flooding.
3. Summer Activities – skip
4. Tree cutting at dam – we need a new team to step up. We will make a pitch for
volunteers at the June meeting.
DISCUSSIONS:
1. Update from Interim Treasurer – All assessment bills went out last week. Thanks
to the Envelope stuffing committee! Bill reports the going is slow, but he is
figuring out Quickbooks.
Mikki will call Eversource to get an electric amount for the winter mos.

2. Update on Roads – We are waiting to receive the final bill for the February “Mud
Season” grading and gravel delivery. Spring grading won’t have to be as extensive
because of the work already done.
3. Bylaws – Dian will e-mail the committee to finish the last financial paragraph.
4. Budget – We are going to let Bill finish all the updating of records before we start
the budget.
5. Tennis Court – skip
6. Google doc for prioritizing our actions – Donna and Dian will work on this.
Additional items:
1. New playground equipment is being offered on-line but we need trucks available to
pick it up. (Add this to June volunteer list.)
2. Our mailboxes were run into and damaged. Dian will contact Jim Coffey to ask
what can be done.
