                                    PRELIMINARY Minutes
                                       August 22nd, 2015
                                        Rossi Hall, 7 PM
 
 
Present: President-T. Chagnon, V. President-P. Bassett, Recording Secretary-D. Mathews, Directors- S. Kazcka, M. Falcone
 

1. Discussion about pool filter which is failing and its replacement. Might cost $400-$600  and $200-$300 install.

 

1. Discussion about getting a solar cover for next year. Might cost $485.

 

1. Dunning letters: we now have a current list of which members have not paid this year. Dian will call Maria Monday AM to get a list of past “owees” from her.

 

1. Roads – Sam

     Grading/gravel of the loop will happen in late Sept. The mud pit on Kennedy”
     Brook” will be fixed also.
     Sam McGerty will be Road Contact – road loop will be accessible by 6 AM
     Wed, 9 AM – meeting w/ Dam Inspector
     Brush cutting will be done every two years.
     Pat: Tree needs cutting on the upper section of King’s Highway.
 

1. Discussion about Rossi Hall taking in H2O during Saturday’s rainstorm.

Cutters or a trench around the foundation?
 

1. Insurance – Mikki

Toll & Davis is our company; Erica is our agent.
Insurance will go up by 4% next year.
Umbrella Policy will be $1002, Workmens Comp will be $1000.
Erica is checking out “Volunteerism Insurance” for us.
 

1. Prep for the Budget Meeting Aug. 29th:

·         Dian will get Sign In people for the front table and prepare thye Sign In list
·         Discussion about the website and e-mail address being run by Jack Page.
·         Board took a vote: Yes -3, No – 1, Abstain – 1 Carries
·         Nominations will be taken from the floor for Director, Treasurer for this year. Dian will prepare ballots for Director position
·         Nominations will be taken from the floor for V. Pres. & Recording Secretary for next June’s vote.
·         President & V. President will count ballots.
·         Dian will print out agendas and copies of the proposed budget.
